Too bad, only two out of twelve. But, I'm sure you'll be happy with them. Now comes the countdown!

I just candles the eggs and it only looks like 2 are developing. Last time I hatched eggs from my chickens I only had one hatch.

hmm. is your rooster having fertility issues? what do the egg layers eat? what breeds are the parent birds?

What breeds do you have and what do you feed them?
It is also possible rooster fertility is lowered now if you are in the Northern Hemisphere. Just like hens, roosters need to be photo stimulated for fertility.

Soo, I found out that it was day 18 today. I just put them on lockdown today.

The chicks should be Hatching in 2 days! I candled them and they’re both moving around!
