Hatching my Silkie eggs... (Final Update)

I had to give away my rooster a while ago and decided to try to hatch his babies.
I have 7 silkie eggs in the incubator and 1 has veins!

I have only ever hatched a duck in all the times I have tried in the past to hatch other eggs.
If this works, it will be my first success with chickens

Wish me luck!

Starting date: 9th of November.
Hatch Date: 29th of November.
Days in Incubator: 25.

Update: 1 egg hatched. The other 2 weren't so lucky. I opened them up... they were fully developed and dead

You don't count the day you put them in. They should be due on the 29th.

Nope, if you put them in on the 8th, then the 9th is day #1, etc...unless I misunderstood your dates...

O no!! I counted the first day I put my eggs in the bator. I'm on my 2nd day of lock down. So does that mean my eggs will be in lock down for 5 days...now i'm worried!!! I have 7 more eggs that are in the same bator and those are supposed to go into lock down the day after all the others supposed to of hatched. So hatch day was gonna be Friday, then the other 7 were gonna be in lock down Sat....worried!!!
