Hatching noise for quail?

Do Coturnix peep while still in the shell? I thought that I read on here somewhere that they didn't but I could swear that I keep hearing something (we are at the very end of day 15, another few hours starts day 16 for us).

my first (and only coturnix hatch so far) did... but it was very faint
but now when i was transferring my bobwhite to the hatcher i can actually feel the egg moving between my fingers... can hear the pecking and effort to try to pip
