Hatching pheasant eggs

This is my second season trying to hatch pheasant eggs, I've only been able to hatch two chicks on separate occasions. One died after 8 days,it was running around eating drinking.woke up the next morning and it was dead,all my eggs came from ebay.i have a good incubator just don't understand my troubles.

Well there is so much info needed from your set-up to try and help.

What kind of incubator are you using---name and model number?

How many eggs did you set to get the 1 chick each of the 2 times?
Did you candle the eggs to see if they are developing after a week or 2 of incubation?
How did/do you brood them----set-up?
