Hatching Pics (first hatch over, second one starting!)

I'm sure going to miss hatching season.

Yeah, me, too, Rio. This year, most of my hatching was done by broodies and maybe I'll have a few in the spring next year.

Hatch still going on. Last two eggs still in bator, one pipped. Here are some fluffy chick pics for you.

aaaawwww I see two that really want to come to Oregon to live with me....that baby Godzilla Delaware and the Splash orp realllly want to come hang out here.

So pack em up and overnight them pronto.

#7 Delaware just hatched, late to the party. We lost the #6 baby awhile after it fluffed out, who never really got going. Looked fine on the outside, but must have been something amiss on the inside.

The last egg wasn't pipped so we opened it. The baby never positioned itself to hatch, head was down, so not sure what happened there. Looked perfectly formed and yolk absorbed.

Two Dels from the next batch have pipped and today is Day 20 for them.
