None of the bigger eggs hatched!!! Go figure! I had to throw out 2 eggs early on in the incubation, so with 12 viables @ Day 7, only 6 hatched. I helped one out, but we had to put that one down.
So my results show that the size of the egg, doesn't determine viability. The hatched chicks were small, but they have already caught up with my feed store chick that is the same age.
These were shipped eggs, so I am sure that had something to do with the final outcome. The SS chicks are ADORABLE! I am hoping REAL HARD that I have 3 pullets out of this batch.
