Hatching Pullet Eggs?

day 21 no hatches no pips or chirping. If I shine a flash light on a egg it will start wiggling around. All seem to still have life in them. Maybe mine will just be late hatches. What do you think? I am new at this.

If they are wriggling, then nothing to worry about, give it another day or so before worrying.

I go by the time that I set the eggs. I didn't set the eggs until 1pm on the 4th so my day doesn't switch over until then. My day 21 started at 1pm today and so far 8 are out and 7 more are pipped. The other thing is they may be pipping underneath the egg where you can't see. I had one do that and until it flipped over I didn't even know it was working on hatching.

I'm going to set my pullets eggs on tuesday or wednesday with the eggs i orderd that are due to come on tueseday.

We are up to 17 with three more pips to go not sure about the last 7 guess we will have to wait and see what happens with them. Turning out to be a pretty good hatch even for pullet eggs.

I got to watch 3 hatch yesterday. All health. There was another one starting to zip when I left for work this morning. If this one makes it out ok then I will have 4 out of the 5 eggs hatch. The chick in egg one was suppose to hatch Saturday so I do not think it made it. This being my first hatch with tons of issues at the rocky start, I could not be more happy with the success. They should turn out to be some interesting chickens. Rooster was the one in my avatar picture the hen was a white silkie. SEE PICS

Wow they are so adorable. I love the silvery looking chick. It's such an interesting color. Congrats!!
