Hey all! I was wondering if you could help me. I have a Java sitting on some eggs. Some are chicken that I noticed around 5/11. Then we purchased some duck eggs for her to sit on 5/16. I haven’t heard a peep out of the best yet. But here’s what concerns me- the nest is filthy! There is poo on probably all of the eggs. Will this be a problem? I haven’t really been able to candle them because 1) I’m new to it so I don’t know what I’m looking at
2) she is mean! So getting to them is really hard, even at night.
I have a small incubator just in case the chickens hatch first, but now I’m worried that nothing will hatch.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The chickens will hatch first if they do. I'm not sure if the poop will be an issue but you ought to wipe it off any eggs before you put them in the incubator.
Here's an egg candling chart for both. You can wear gloves and take the eggs from her to candle, do so in a dark room with the brightest light you can. If you noticed the chicken eggs around the 11th of May then they should have hatched by now.
