Hi just me 2 cents hatching serama eggs in a incubator. I am currently getting 100% hatch rate in my cheap Chinese incubator. While some hatch dry and with full sized eggs it seems to work well my experience in dry California is a little more humidity with the small eggs really helps these guys hatch better out of their shell. My seramas tend to get stuck if the humidity was on the lower side so approx 30% humidity seems to work like a dream until hatch is close then I up the humidity to 60-65% or so. Course shipped eggs are always a gamble and I have much better luck with my own. Just hatched a batch of with my chocolate cuckoo female and frizzled male.

What incubator are you using? Asking cause I'm thinking of the Janoel 12 just for a first time try. Originally thought of the Incuview but the Janoel 12 is cheap enough that if I decided incubating's not may forte, I'm not out so much :(

Beautiful birds!

It is one of the yellow off brands similar to the Janoel. I got 7 out of 7 hatch rate. I do have to keep a blanket on it however. Shipped eggs have been a gamble so my rates are not as good on those. I found the little eggs need a little higher huimidity or they have a rough time hatching out on their own.

The hen was the on my serama to hatch from some eggs back east. I have 1 chick with the cuckoo coloring but I Think It is more of a grey
