Hatching shipped eggs vs local eggs, the winner is....................................

I started hatching shipped eggs last year as I couldn't find any Lav Orps or Silkies near me. So I spent well over $$$$$$$$$$$$ don't even want to say but ended up hatching a nice pair of Lav Orps (diff bloodlines) and 6 Silkies. They are now laying eggs and I am getting a 100% hatch rate, every thing I put in hatches from my own eggs, very exctiting. Was it worth all the $$ I spent on shipping eggs ABSOLUTLEY!!! I now have grandkids

Keep your fingers crossed for me. I have my first shipped eggs in the incubator right now. There are two breeds in there I couldn't find locally (or nearly anywhere actually).

I also spent lots of $$$$ on shipped LO eggs. I have 1 maybe 2 pullets just starting to lay.

I will be hatching their eggs very soon.
