Hi,
First I want to thank you for replying to my message however, there may be a few things I need to clarify. First, with over 35 years of experience raising both domestic and wild animals, I know the domestic animals cannot be released to the wild, therefore, I have no intention of releasing my birds into the wild, I am not new to this and all of my animals mean a great deal to me, I would never be so careless as to release then, expecting them to fend for themselves. And second, and the most concerning thing to me is the fact that, I live in an area of California where we've seen a great deal of our wildlife disappear. The valley quail are almost nonexistent right now, I don't know if it's because of the drought but, whatever the reason, I would like to do more than sit around and watch the species disappears for good. So rest assured I take care of my animals, I respect wildlife, and not one single bird of mine will be released into the wild. So thank you for your concern but, I am going to continue what I'm doing because I want to make a difference the only way that I know how, and I will continue to look forward to the day when I might be a part of a program to increase the number of wild quail.
Thank you
