Hatching supermarket quail!

Hi guys,
I got these quail eggs from a supermarket, wasn’t expecting much. I’ve also never hatched eggs before. All of them were duds until I got to the last one, I think this shows some sign of life?? Although I am new to this, what do you guys think? It’s day 4 fyi.

Yes! Still going strong, it’s a lot darker now but under good light there is more veins and I can see movement inside which is really cool. If all goes well next week should close to hatching!

Are you going to get the quail a friend? Quails are very social birds.

I need to first get the coop all set up for this one and wait until I determine it’s gender, then I’ll probably get one depending on how it gets on. It will be kept inside and will be allowed to free roam around my house too. I work from home so in the meantime I’ll be there to keep it company

Did it hatch? I tried hatching some store bought eggs a few years back using a diy incubator... 3 were live and all but 1 quit. Sadly, the last one didn't make it either... died the day before it was supposed to hatch
