Hatching these buggers

All you expierenced peafowl hatchers....if you had to name the most important thing to hatching peafowl what would it be?

I have a question about hatching peacocks.. Ihave hatched some for my friend because when she hatched them they did fine until they were about three weeks old... she said they would not eat... The one i had for her i feed hard boiled egg and starter but when i sent him home with her it died in tow weeks. Are they hardee to raise? Is it that these guys were not eating? everything that i have hatched from chickend to turkeys and ducks i have never had problems with. Any help would be great!!

Peachicks are like raising Turkey Poults if you can raise turkeys you should be able to raise peachicks. You also don't want to brood peachicks with chicken chicks.

They need a 20 to 22% medicated starter feed.
