Hatching WebCams

So I went into lockdown just 10 mins ago, and it looks like I have 16 out of 24 eggs still going 5 had no signs of developement and 3 quit. And the very next thing I wanted to do was check on the egg I was worried about the top right one that had pipped but nothing else. And all I see is the mouse trap.

Where did they go? Did it hatch? I was so excited to find out?
Oh and the cake I am making for the big chickens is from this site with bird seed and molasses and other ingredents. I have some friends coming over to watch the hatch so I thought I would just have a coming out part. All are welcome I am in Middle TN and I am an absoulte wreck over my first hatch. I am sure I will need some wine or a xanax or 2 to get through lockdown. Or some more experinced people who have done several hatches (hint hint Rebel). Today when I candled I could see them moving and reacting to the light it is all so real now. If I mess this up I will be hurt.
Wish me luck! Rebel hope you catch your mouse. Please post again when you have more hatching I would love to watch! This was fun!
Mrsfoote good luck with your hatch!
3goodeggs come on I have wine here and jose and jack and morgan oh and some stuff I picked up in Greece that I can't get anyone to drink. Taste like licorice!

There will be cake! We can play xbox or will while we wait.

Looks like you need a little adjustment on that trigger. Too heavy for that little rodent . He had breakfast and left.

Dont know how to adjust that one..... wait, check that... Now it goes off if ya sneeze.

Top right hatched with help. I was afraid the rat would come back....

Bottom left had a run in with a rat an lets just say it wasn't pretty....

The other two looked like they quit about day 18.

Two traps... this will be good . I'm going to have to climb on my stand here, sit awhile and watch.

Hope it's a success. Need to run... can't post and watch at the same time.

Glad at least one made it.

I watched those until about 1:30am cdt. Waiting to see if they were going to get out, but sleep took over and missed the final action. When I refreshed this am...the critter was just finishing his breakfast. Then he exited stage left... my lower right.

well, I am glad I missed the rodent and egg bit.

sorry about the failed eggs. but I will keep watching the new set. but, I guess it will be 21 days before any action? or do you add eggs each week and rotate them to the camera? I do not know anything about incubating except that I do not have the nerves for it.
it was fun. Thanks for sharing!

I try to have some hatching every weekend but my chickens don't always do there part. Friday I will have more to watch then a week off before the next ones. There is also about 19 Guenie(spelling) eggs in there someone brought me to hatch for them. Not sure how long they take to hatch. Been a few years...

Trying to figure out a way to have eggs hatching every day?

okay! ..and meanwhile, there are PUPPIES!

..they sure do sleep a lot. Are their eyes open yet?
I suppose once they get to be a lots of fun, they find their way out of the dog bed.
