I didn't know that people incubated in the winter (in cold areas). I live in SE KY and I just started with chickens this last summer. What area are you in? what are your plans for brooding/keeping till you can put them on the ground? I've been wanting to hatch as soon as I can but after looking at the past average temperatures it seems like late April will be my time to set eggs. I have an unheated barn with an off the ground brooder box that I heat with a heat lamp and a brinsea warmer.
Well, thank you for adding to my chick fever

please update on your hatch when you can. Finger crossed for your hatch.
