I think we have an internal pip in one of the eggs I can hear slight/quite cheeps I think Hopefully!

I have just peeked when mama hen got up and we have a full pip and she is chirping in the shell can't wait for her to hatch and what colour she turns out to be!!!

She has 5 eggs under her 2 defo eggs that have chicks in but the other three I'm not sure about they are developed but i don't know if they are alive but I will just have to wait and see!

Hello everyone. Question. Betty has been sitting on her 8 eggs for 9 days now. Everything is going well and I see her come out to eat and drink and she takes dust baths too. The 21st day will be April 13th. Should I candle the eggs or does it matter? I'm so excited to see how many hatch.

That is up to you, some people like to candle them to see if they are viable and others just wait and see what happens. Good luck....

Hey all! I've been away too long!!!
Sooo many broodies! I got on to catch up and had almost three pages to read. We have an April 13 hatch and new cheeping!! How exciting!!!! What day are you on TG? We have our own little Easter Hatchalong!!!

Sorry for the eggs breakin 16 Paws, thats frustrating. If she is hanging in there give her some more eggs and we will all hope for the best!!! I agree with Liz, you are just a few days into it, with the gunk all over them, it may be easier to just start over.....day 1???
