Did you mean the head shot, in amongst all the flowers? That is Dusty, my Bantam Langhsan, she has the most beautiful big brown eyes and I have never been able to get a good picture of her until today .. love the new camera already!

Yes, that is the one! beautiful chicken and awesome picture. I forgot there were real cameras with my cell phone. You can certainly tell the difference.

I have been wanting a nice camera for a while (my last one died many many years ago). You certainly can tell the difference. Got a bargain too; less than half price because it was ex-display and did not have a box (which, by the way, I probably would have thrown out anyway!

).

Drove my poor girls nuts today, followed them everywhere with camera in hand!

I had actually entered one photo previously but I note you are allowed to have two so I might enter that one also. I didn't know if it was good enough but then I also guess it doesn't hurt to put it out there and see

Love the new camera. I am partial to the second picture. Looks like a round little powder puff doll.
All of the pictures are beautiful and your girls look so healthy.

16Paws, YAY! So happy everything went well! I hope the remaining eggs hatch soon too.
nothing really to report here. the broodies are all laying again; Wendy is pecking and rejecting her chicks at 3wks old. heartbreaking to see! but she seems to be wooed by the 6month old cockerel, she's following him around everywhere now and she has never done that. the chicks also respond to the cockerel's food clucks, so they end up following along too and it's very cute. the cockerel doesn't peck the chicks, just their mama! I wish I had a better camera like yours Teila, chickens are so difficult to take clear photos of!
