Thanks, I put another water wiggler in there with it so it can snuggle up to it if need be along with the teddy bear...I think I will remove the teddy bear as I am afraid it will start smoking if it gets too close to the heat elements.

The teddy bear is a cute idea, but I would have to agree. I remember the first day I had my incubator I was leaning into the window on top when I felt a hot sensation. I was stupid and didn't realize how hot the screws that hold in the heating element get!

A lesson learned though!

THANK YOU EVERYBODY I just woke up and went to check on her. she was sleeping up against her teddy bear (I switched bears and put in a beannie baby bear

) I tapped on the window and she woke up and answered me so I picked her up. Her bulge is now flesh colored and smaller!!!! Hopefully, by morning it will be gone!

She is sooo pretty. Silvery gray with white tips on her wings and chest. She needs a bath though, she dried with sticky stuff all over her...from hatching too soon? No, I won't be giving this little one a bath.

I need a very special he/she name for her. I keep calling it a her but have no clue as yet.

It does look better, Carrie. I think it may just be absorbed into her body with a little more time. She's a pretty little thing. Looks splashy or very, very light blue!
