You'll have to measure your incubator. We have Brinsea 56EX's and I had a heck of a time finding baskets that would work, and never did. One out of six can get out of them. I thought of putting a fishnet over the top, but discounted that idea as the last thing we want to do to a new chick is give them wry neck.what size baskets did you use? i’ll be hatching some chicks that are all black - some split to mottled, some split to lav, etc and have been nervous about them getting tangled. seeing how many eggs you have in the basket and knowing the size would probably help me more than looking at a basket in the store and wondering how many eggs would fit.![]()

I still use them, but just try to be there when they hatch and snap a picture. Or, I have water-based markers. If it's going to be critical I know who is who, I'll open the incubator enough to snatch a basket or chick out and mark their heads. If dark ones, I have brown fingernail polish and put a dot on one toenail. They can't see that to pick at it.
