Sorry if this sounds like a silly question.....but how do you keep the incubator clean while the ducklings are hatching if you cant open the lid? I have a janoel 10 with a plastic floor. My eggs are only on day 4 but im starting to get anxious as I just candled them and at least 3/6 are developing.....thanks for your help and patience! :)

Hello we'll you can't really keep the incubator clean whilst they are hatching but after they have hatched you will be able to clean it all up and pick up any egg shells etc
Good luck with your hatch

Thanks for your suggestion. Im worried as I read that ducklings should not be left in their own poop and i know it could be over 24hrs before they have all hatched. During that time I will need to keep the incubator closed. Also the plastic floor may be slippery. I might put damp kitchen paper down before the hatch to increase humidity and make the floor safe. What do you think?
