Hatching

No it doesn't, nor does it have any controls...humidity is dependent on the amount of water in the hole in the middle (this is something my husband bought, not my first choice) so if I need to get more water in there to get the humidity up then that means I have to open the incubator and I have been hearing/reading over and over to not do that. Guess I've got to try and add some somehow as fast as possible then huh

Good luck and keep us posted. We have two duck eggs in our bator right now and one just pipped today. The second is rocking and rolling. This is our first duck hatch also.

Well everyone.. I got home today and poked on each egg.. Not hearing anything at all I started slightly helping crack the shell and I saw that the membrane was very darkish, looking as if it had been cooked.. I just decided to open it and my baby was dead.. The membrane was tightly sucked onto him.. Should I throw the rest out?

Have you candled them? How many have pipped externally? How many have pipped internally? What's your temp at? What's your humidity at?

The temp is 95 humidity like 75 and only two barely externally pipped.. I moved them into a different incubator for like close to two days and we forgot to add water.. I believe this is what killed them:(

95 is way too low, especially if it doesn't have a fan. What type of incubators are you using?
