So... can you tell me if you candled these little guys? How would you do it with such dark eggs?

I set the eggs on an led flashlight and then used a mini maglight to light them from the top and side. I still could rarely see veins and couldn't see anything but a dark mass on day 18. Between candling on day 14 and 16 though I managed to see movement in all the developping eggs except one and that one hatched already.
