One of my 3 day old chicks has a lump hanging out of her vent. Belly feels like it's still full of yolk or something too. She's active, but not as much as the others. I gave her a couple of days to see if there would be improvement, but no. So tonight I used warm water to soften it up and see what I could tell. It did soften and I was able to pick off what almost seemed like egg membrane. There was a little poop in there too, but even after the membrane came off, there was soft pink tissue sticking out. I'm thinking this does not look good. Any thoughts?

I think that small bit sticking out should be on the inside of the chick.
Is it able to poop ok?

Not sure, but I doubt it. I left her with mom overnight. I
may need to bring her in to keep a better eye on her.

So sorry. That kind of thing is very hard to fix and he may have had problems throughout life even if you could have done something.
