Hate Selling My Silkies! Anyone Else?

I'll bring a few birds for sale not alot, not sure which one's yet. I have a list of buyers who have some on special order first. After those are filled, I'll bring the extras to the show.

I always have chicks in the house, I just kicked the house duck that has been in here since Nov out! Kevin had to go out! I was tired of being yelled at by a duck every morning for the last 6 months!

Way to go Snuggle! Just hope she dosen't get broody on you, if she does, she may go Great White on anyone who get's to close!

Ha ha I don't mind I love broodies espeacially mean ones keeps me from worrying about something getting the chicks it also keeps me from bothering them to much. Are Wyndottes very broody birds? I would love for snuggle to have a few fluffy faverolles babies. Oh I hope she waits so I can give her some eggs from my new black faverolles pair

I have one that has been rasing a silkie baby in a tote in my living room. If you went near her or the egg, she would puff up and let a a growl! And she hasn't layed an egg in three years! She just went broody, so I gave her and egg. She & her silkie chick just did a photo shoot at the Mill of Bel Air for their Purina display.

Ha ha sounds like she is a doll ha ha no eggs in three years how old is she? I buy all my feed at the Mill in Harford great store I really like it. If snuggle ever hatches any of her own eggs they are going to be some really really weird looking birds

I am tempted just to see what the heck a columbian wyndotte blue salmon faverolles cross would look like but I will stick to eating her yummy eggs for now. I had a broody LF ameraucana who was SUPER aggressive she would flog me and bite me when ever I would let her free range. She raised 12 chicks in one broody period.

This is the ONLY porcelain I have ever decided to sell, the only other one that left me was a gift. I gave one Lavender & one Porcelain as a gift for my friend. The only others that have gotten out of my mitts is in egg from, I have only sold a few eggs.lol

Awww April! I bet you hated putting her up for auction! We have to do things we don't like sometimes to fuel our hatching addiction!
I was wondering if you'd have another PQ silkie pullet (any color) for sale at York. I have a friend that is looking to add another girl to the flock.
