Its ungheard of of one hen to lay 2 eggs in less then 2 hours aint it?

Is it possible that you found an egg that was really laid yesterday? (kinda hidden)

Nope i check multiple times a day i checked at 9am this morning and around 1 pm this afternoon

Yes, but do you search all through the nest materials and around it? It's surprising how well they can hide things.

Had chickens 2years never missed a egg not like im Completely new to this. I have 9 nest boxes that hardley have any straw in at all. I check each one every time i check eggs

I think sometimes that just happens , I've had jumbo xl eggs and a small egg from the same breed, they are not machines .
Must have had a bad day

I have 5 full grown white leghorn hens and these 2 young ones ones a cockerel i got 5 large white eggs and 1 pulet sized eggs. pretty sure that would be a good day

Now I wonder if a chicken has never laid two in a day .... I'm going to look this up.

I don't like it when people are so sure things are impossible. I was raised to ask why???
