what size wire do you use on the bottom of your quail pens? DH is building a quail pen and we need to know what size wire is on the bottom.

the one pen is half inch stuff sorry i cant be more specfic hopefully someone else has the specifics

I will be using 1/2" cloth hardware.

I bought hardware cloth as well, about 1 cm sq I think?

Mine use rabbit cages, and have 1" by 1/2" wire on the bottom, but I have a piece of wood in each cage, and they always have their dusting pans in there, so they can get off the wire. The sides are 1" by 1 1/2"
