Have a real dark egg anyone have suggestions?

And than return him to finish when I am done right? I wish i had tweezers right now.
Yes, tweezers are handy for this. It's what I use. Once you check and make sure the membrane isn't stuck, or if it is you unstick it with some warm water and pull it back gently from the down and I would wrap a wet paper towel around the backside and put it back in to let it finish itself.

Did you do a full assist?
As I was reading, I was thinking wait too, but Amy is excellent, so either choice should turn out ok. Did he get out on his own? How's he doing this morning?
I would have waited to do a full assist. I was just suggestion checking the membranes (at the pip area) to make sure that they weren't glued to the baby to keep it from hatching and removing any glued membrane and wrapping a towel around him and putting him back in so he could finish on his own.

I chipped away but it started to come out. He;s doing great today in the brooder. The humidity is too high in the incubator him to dry all the way. Woke up this morning he was still wet so I moved him to the brooder. Egg #1 has a pip hole like his

and egg #2 is pipped and cracked but not open. So I can't see inside. But they are peeping and I aint touchin em. lol

Wahoo I have 3 pipped goose eggs. Also if it isn't heat problems in the LG it's humidity problems in the brinsea. I have two pieces of sponge in there it is really hard for them to stay wet. I come in now 3 times since I set them last night and the humidity in there is down to 49 and there is not a lot of room in there to keep adding things to keep it up. UGH
The wells are full still also which makes no sense to me.

I am so glad to hear that. I was a tad worried. Whew! Congrats!

Weird I typed another reply and hit send and it's not here. Did you see what I said about the humidity in the brinsea? I can't find that post ugh.

What I said is that I have small sponge pieces in the brinsea I have come in here 3 times since I set them and the water wells are full but, the sponges are dry and the hygrometer says 49% and it's not like there is a lot of room in there to add things to help create humidity.

I'm feeling a little frustrated. The LG has heat problems the brinsea has humidity problems.
