Have a real dark egg anyone have suggestions?

Funny part is: I thought well a watched chick never hatches.... (pun intended). So I went outside tended the seedlings. Planted my strawberry plants, planted some potato seeds and hoped it would be out when I came back in. I fed the chickens, had a chat with the feral rooster who thinks he owns my flock now. Fed watered and let my dog out.
Came back still in the shell. Poo

lol It was a good theory though....

Wait.... Wait .... Wait.... And Wait some more! That's what the assistance thread says. Good thing that those chick sounds give it a little oomph every now and than. Or I would have opened up this bator and gently peeled back some shell. However I am going on with your suggestion and repeating the chirping every few minutes. It seems to be helping but, still not out. But, it tells me the chick hasn't given up. So come on lil chick we are waiting for you!

Edited to say the assist thread says it could take up to 40 hours for the chick to hatch.

Squiggy needs to hurry up and dry. There is no external pips on the last two eggs. So I want to give them a look over and close them back up.

I candled the Goose and Duck eggs tonight

Lavender #1

Spangled Sussex #1

Sussex #2 looks clear to me so I didn't post it.

Well now how does this work? If 8 lavender eggs were shipped but at lock down I had 6 and 4 of 6 hatched what does that make my %? And if 8 Spangled Sussex eggs were shipped to me and at lock down there is 1 clear And 1 good what does that mean? Besides the fact that I knew her over packing was suspicious. Lol

So the lavenders are overdue now and the Sussex are due in a couple of days, right?? If that's correct, it looks to me like those lavenders are gone... are you still seeing any movement? Have you tried floating them? The Sussex looks fine with a couple more days to go. Don't know anything about geese, but they look fine with a week to go, I believe. And 10 more days on the Anconas, if my calculations are right, they look good too.
