Have any one received their Porter poults

Man, that sucks! It has got too hot down here in the south too quick and if he shipped poults, they would be DOA! My replacement Auburn eggs he sent did hatch. 12 hatched but 1 died in the hatcher after hatch.

The other 11 are doing great at nearly a week old. Here is a pic I took as I removed some from the hatcher to transfer to the brooder. See if you could cancel your poult order and get him to ship you eggs with cool packs.

I have a dozen sweetgrass, plus a couple extras from Porters. They are a week or more old now, doing GREAT!!! Last year I only got four and three were toms, so I sold them all, and ordered a dozen for this year. He sent SIXTEEN, and one died from some weepy thing under its wing, sold one, and the rest are doing great.

email Mr Porter and got a quick reply. my order will be shipped anyday now but there will not be any more orders taken for those states cause of testing requirments. until farther notice well i beat the deadline by one month

I'm supposed to have 15 coming the first week in June (isn't that this week?). Did you guys get a notification or anything before they showed up? I'm in Alaska, so I guess everything takes longer!
