Have collected some chix over last few months

free from idiots on CL that buy as cute chix then, of course, are horrified when they start to grow/be less cute. Several were Red Star pullets BUT got 3 known cockerels and they called them Rocks. Only have BR rocks(which ,of course, are barred!!!) and these are similar to my Delwares but NOT quite the same. Any definites on breed PLEASE?????They are all cockerels anyhow and seem aggressive already(we have many hickies on our legs) so will have to be processed soon. JUST curious.(oops-forgot pic!!!!!!)

Rocks come in many different colors - including columbian - which yours resembles. Maybe they weren't the idiots you thought they were ....

Having hard time finding pix online and these particular people handing over chix free had NO knowledge of poultry and both lived in the city(which is fine-legal in cbus now) and had no care of asking what I was doing with the chix. Just very sad that chickens are now being collected like some people do with kittens/pups then get tired of them when no longer fun is what I mean.And I am happy to get the chix, certainly but....COLUMBIAN. hope computer co-operates.

The pix I was able to bring up of what people called columbian wyandotte OR columbian rock and they looked similar to these but mine have dark beaks. Maybe cross of something.

Ive seen them with darker beaks. Maybe they just aren't the best quality. I agree Columbian Rock Roosters.

Thanks. Its odd to me also how all 3 are testy. Don't want to badmouth a certain breed so will call them mixes? And all were bought from tsc so they are poor quality probably(altho I love my old chix purchased from TSC!!)
