I've been wearing glasses since, as long as I can remember, about 2nd grade. My most recent pair are progressive lenses and I LOVE THEM! I wear them all the time because, to quote ailurophile23, "You will be amazed at what you are missing!"

I think people that have worn glasses since childhood are sometimes perplexed by the distress it causes us old folks that have to start wearing them about age 40 or so. I've got a dozen pair of reading glasses scattered all around the house and office and distance glasses to drive with. I'm at the point now were I need to just go ahead and get the bi-focals and force myself to wear them all the time.
