I forgot to say in the OP that the store was actually OUT of chick starter food last Friday when I was there. I actually left without the food that I had gone for... but with chicks in hand instead.

(Fortunately, I was low and not completely out of food.) So anyway, my kids had their ice skating lessons today and what do you know, their lessons are really close to a hardware store that I just learned carries Purina chicken food. And.... they were having chick days too.... and carrying SLW pullet chicks....

Well of course we had to make a quick stop by that store after we left the skating rink today, because we were so close to it so it only made sense, right? And we bought........









































the very last bag of starter food they had.

All the chicks were already gone.

DON'T FEEL BAD I WENT TO THE FEED STORE AND THEY HAD ABOUT 300. INCLUDING STANDARD COCHINS IN 4 COLORS. I DID GOOD I ONLY BOUGHT 8 4 BUFF , 3 SPLASHED AND ONE BLUE
