have my first pip in the homemade hatcher updated 7/14

so the waiting game is painfully long! LOL I heard a peep yesterday morning and today I have a pip - we'll see how it goes.

it's in the egg singing up a storm - hopefully all goes well. I am more nervous because it's the first hatch in the homemade crate LOL I am more worried about hatching than I was about giving birth!

update - day 20 begins with 1 baby out (after sitting in the basement for 1.5 hours with 2 kids watching and waiting and cheering it on) and another almost completely unzipped. The first is a mix and the second is an EE. Fingers crossed for the others - they are in the homemade hatcher and it is a tight squeeze - the little one out is laying on top of other eggs - but that was the way it ended up with 14 eggs in there.

Second one is out! I don't see any more pips - off to bed - one EE and one mix - can't wait to see them dryed off some - they look like they will be a variety of colors.
