Have recently added a 4 month old Drake to a dock of 3 10 month old girls and it's disastrous so far- what do we do?

PLEASE help! We have 3 girls who are 10 months old, two butfs and a rouen. We had a male Pekin originally but had to get rid of him because he was too big and hurt the girls trying to mate.
So we recently added a small mallard male to our flock and it's been about a week now, and they are no closer to getting over this madness than on day one.
The girls run and squawk non-stop unless we separate him. They won't let up even if he's not doing anything to than or being around them. We worry about them being stressed out with all the squackng and hissing at him.
So yesterday I decided to sit with them and every time he got close enough to them he would start biting at them, so I intervened.
We really don't know if we should give him back, or if this is normal and we need to give it more time or what to do. Please help. Thank you.

At just four months, like a fourteen year old boy, he's all hormones and no sense. I admit to not being an expert on ducks, but sexual precociousness happens with cockerels as well. It does become necessary to keep the immature bird separate from the girls until he grows into his hormones.

Have you tried putting up a temporary enclosure for him? This would protect the girls while still giving them all the opportunity to become comfortable with him while giving him time to temper his hormones with additional maturity.
