Have to cull a full grown duck, anyone ever butcher?

I had a duckling that was abused by a drake. She couldn't walk, because she was so pretty and my favorite we didn't cull her. She is walking now. It took a long time for her to recover. As for the drake-he is old and I am sure tough but we will be butchering him, just not sure when.
