have to get rid of my chickens

that is just what I heard that you can feed them coffee grounds....I dont though...I put all my coffee grounds and tea bags in my compost pile for the summer garden....

Sheesh my chickens are rambunxious enough, if i gave them coffee grounds i'd be out there peeling them off the ceiling of the coop!!!

Of course yesterday I broke down and talked to a neighbor about who might want my chickens. A neighbor who just lost his wife to a long difficult battle with cancer is looking for some.

When I told DH about it he says "Well... now I done know if I want to get rid of them He does this now and then, says something then changes his mind completely. That's why I wait before I do anything any more.

We'll see what happens this weekend. He admitted that he really likes the chickens and doesn't want to get rid of them.
