Have two hens missing without a trace ??

Your neighbor is stealing your chickens!! Dress up like a ninja at night and go scope out your neighbor's chicken coop to see if your chickens are there. Bring a flashlight, a water bottle, and a pack of Saltines to munch on in case your neighbor stays up late at night. Best of luck.
Lol most of my neighbors do the same except a little
Worse they hide under there cars an stuff ...They don’t do coops as
Well ....So unless they are up a chicken or two ...IDK but will be asking ....

A bobcat could easily go over that fence. And others could too. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they aren't around.....your chickens are no longer safe in their current situation.

Knock on wood, we haven't had a predator attack since about a year ago.....I let my chickens free range half the day. But when there is an attack, they get locked up for months. We have lost 1 or 2 a year and I have raised replacements each year. Because i love those free range eggs, I take the chance.
I wish you luck, keep us updated!

Thank you going to try guard dog first waiting on coop delivery from amazon ...An I will ...

A big tom decided he wanted a buds chickens who roosted 16ft up in the barn rafters. Even though we knew he was coming in there, he got 23/26 over a couple of months before we could kill him, he was pretty crafty and left no sign. He would snatch a chicken, haul it 200-300 yards away from the barn and then eat it.

Welcome! I agree about locking your birds in your garage while you sort this out, and having a camera out there would be great.
You can't harm or harass any raptors, so don't go there.
Having a predator proof coop for your flock at night is essential, unless you want to continue to feed the wildlife.
