Can you huys help me determine the breed or breeds of my little hen, I hatched her out of eggs I bought from a guy thought they'll all be pure bred but turns out maybe they aren't after all.
She's red but has kind of a double penciled pattern on her feather barely noticeable but its there!

She probably has a white egg-layer in her ancestry, but her lobes aren't the straight white that a leghorn or other white-layer will have so it isn't too surprising that she is laying brown eggs.

Looks like a Production Red x Brown Leghorn.

Often you can indeed cross a white layer with a brown layer and get a brown egg laying bird with white dusted earlobes.

Also, the earlobe rule doesn't always apply. Penedesencas have white earlobes and lay very dark brown eggs.

Do you guys think maybe a Game X Production red would be possible. Im thinking cuz I also hatched out what I thought it was a Game Silver Duckwing out of the same batch of eggs, and she also lays brown. Thats her
