Have you been pecked in the eye by your chicken?

My chicks 11 weeks old and have a strange obsession for tobacco .... i have to be really careful when rolling a fag as they try to take it outa my hand and run off with it (not lit thank god)

I've noticed that animals like to smoke. Rams, gorillas, the list goes on, LOL.

No but I have an industrial piercing that has fallen victim lol (oh, and one totally pecked my nipple one time and that really sucked ).

They peck eyes! And they are sneaky and fast about it too! I wear safety glasses because I am so close to my birds.

Yep! Here's a list of things my birds have pecked at/consumed over the years (consisting of chickens, a duck, and an emu.)

• Eyes, pecked at. (I have blue eyes which are prime targets.)
• A Cottonelle flushable wipe, consumed. (Luckily it was just the very corner of one.)
• 3 different earrings, consumed. (My mom never stopped wearing jewelry around the birds, much to my dismay.)
• A marble, consumed.
• The tab of a zipper, consumed.
• Multiple unfortunate lizards, consumed.
• Shovels, pecked at.
• Carpet, pecked at.
• String, consumed.
• Candy, consumed. (Children's pockets are now inspected to prevent further incidents.)
• A bell from a cat toy, consumed.
• A dead bluebird, pecked at.
• A garnet from a necklace, MIA. Possibly consumed.
• A car key. (Technically I didn't witness this. My dad saw one of the geese on his father's farm eat his father's car key. They never got the key back.)
