Have you ever had a broody do this?

I’ll have to watch my broody because she lost all her eggs except one and she had a clutch of six and we just integrated a batch of twelve chicks about a month old. Something weird to mention we also integrated two ducklings about three weeks after we got them since it’s so freaking hot and at first they didn’t go near anyone but my Pekin drake Jerry has literally adopted them. They just follow him around like- well....ducklings. These birds are a straaaaange bunch lol.

I had two broodies hatch at the same time. When the chicks from one hen saw the chicks from the other hen they became best friends and moved in with them under the dominant broody nested on the floor. The other broody camped out in the empty nest above them. They raised them together. The chicks always knew their mama's voice. When they got a little bigger (about 3 weeks), two moved back in with the mom above. The hen on the floor saw that and said, "I'm outta here" and went back to the roost. Then the less dominant broody raised them until weaning. It was one of the dearest things I've ever seen.

I'm about to find out how the three sitting on two clutches is going to turn out.
Any other double sits in the past have not turned out well here.
