But we could find consignment clothes or books for each other. I love it consignment and Goodwill shopping is like a treasure hunt!!

I'm a consignment clothing shopper all the way. We are way too rough on clothing to be wasting $25 per pair of jeans here! DH can't go 4 days to work without ripping his pants. I sew and mend a lot. I buy everything used that I can, minus undergarments obviously.

All the clothing I bought the boys for Yule totaled..... $17. Not kidding. The consignment place just so happened to be having a sale when I was there. I love 'treasure hunting'.

Since we celebrate on New Year's Day, we do most of our buying at the after-Christmas sales!

We're pretty poor, so get stuff we need rather than fru-fru stuff.

I bought a few things early 'cause I knew they'd run out of some stuff:

Sewing machine for DD and SIL

Wooden art easel for the grandbaby

Beard trimmer for DH

I am offiacially finished as of 5:00 this evening! And boy does it feel good! All I had left was to take DS to do his shopping(he's 14). I also wanted to get my MIL something special but when I couldn't find the right thing I decided that I would make her something. Now I don't have a crafty bone in my body!

So it will be a challenge.

I finished the last card this afternoon and everything is mailed. I have a few gifts left to wrap, one is still on its way, should be here next monday. Oh! I did good this year. Wait...............What did I forget!???????
