Have you seen this? Japanese students hatch egg outside shell!?

I am no expert and I don't mean to be cynical but I have so many questions about this video.

First and foremost, how does it peck it's way out? They never showed this in the video I watched.
2. What about the air pocket?
3. Bacteria is so important...I guess they use sterile plastic?
4. What about humidity?

Having said all that, if this is real...it's very cool!
 
I'm sure others have seen this as it's been all over the internet, but I just saw it and can't find a thread on it. It's totally cool, but at the same time kinda freaks me out! Watch the video though, very interesting!

I know this is an older thread, but I am currently trying this! Just got my eggs and will be working on this project. I’m glad to see that others are interested, and if wanted I could post pictures and updates!
