Having a cold winter where you live?

We had a wind chill factor here on the coast last night of -35 and tonight the animals seem to know its going to warm up thru the weekend and be a whopping 6 above by Monday, the geese are all outside honking and beating their wings It almost makes us feel like Spring is here...for a moment

I'm letting the ducks outside the next three days/nights and hope they don't lay their eggs in the snow, I won't find them if they do until the snow melts!

And taking advantage of the "warm weather" I'll clean out the coops so we're ready for the cold again unless we get a blizzard. This time of year every time it warms up, we get a blizzard.

Last night was the coldest so far here where I am at least! -10

I am freezing...hate te winter...and apparently we have not seen nothing yet..February is set for records lows....I have not experienced this level of cold before...I do not envy you over therre, don't know how you survive it.......

Today were getting a big storm. 6-12" of snow. Its only about 5 degrees out now.

We have massive snowfall here every year. I think we're about normal this year. It does seem to be a lot colder though. I don't see our typical January thaw anywhere on the horizon. I'm east of Lake Ontario in the Tug Hill area...CRAZY lake effect snow

Guess I should stop feeling sorry for myself right about now, you brave Alaskans. Going down to -10 for the first time this week. Its been really windy, tho, so it's felt like that already. Yikes.

It does not really seem colder persay but we are certainly getting enough snow. Got like 8" yesterday, expecting 4-6" more today...

Then Wednesday a high of 9, wahoo! I'm thinking two weeks from now it should be 40 again... because it's just been that strange.

'bout a foot of snow here and coming. I shoveled the ducks a area to walk. I send my lone millie fleur to Georgia to live with a relatives flock. Poor thing would be snowed in . Now i'm chicken less but i can start again.

Just heard another 6-12" expected tonight. Guess we're staying in. Think I have a couple of extra teenagers coming n, too . . .Going to check on the popcorn and cocoa supply situation right now.

Yesterday it was 69 and today it is 20ish and snowing when I woke up....

I hate Winter!!!!!

It is cold here but not as cold as normal. We have only dipped to a single digit once. No snow. No ice. Very odd. Cold weather came much earlier but hasn't been the extreme we usually have.
