hi were having a hard time deciding if our peafowl are male or female as my little girl wants to name them. They all seem to have brown and dark brown bottom feathers. The ne one with the longest tail is a week older than the other 2. It was born june 11th so they are around 3 months old. If u have any ideas please let us know...thank u!

2 males and a female. On bottom picture 2 males on left. Female right in back.

I am no peafowl expert by no means, but they all look like females to me.
In N.H.,Tony.

This is what we thought too. Is it because one has a whiter face? Or how do u know?

They actually looexactly the same but one has more white on the head. Are u saying girls dont have the green on their necks. And all seem to have tapering wings. Our thought is 2 boys and a girl..but these are our first

I know how to sex my peacocks and hens all except for my pied is there a different way to sex them? She is around a year old.

At 9/10 months the young male become to be BLUE and the green feathers scales shape disappear with the moult.if not BLUE ... the shape change!
