Having fun with my new hens

We were gifted 6 hens that are 7 months old. We have a small coop and they can free range every day. I’m learning so much from you by reading the posts. One hen has a bare butt and that concerns me. Any ideas? They were under some stress from being moved and they seem to be doing ok now. Otherwise all seems to be going well. We are training the dog to leave them alone unless we ask for his assistance. Otherwise no worries

I can't begin to fathom a circumstance with your chickens in which you would require the assistance of your dog. I'd work on having him leave the chickens alone at all times.
