Having issues with sexing one Silver Laced Wyandotte

This is a boy. Do yours have feathering like this?

Looks like a premature pullet to me.

That's just what I was going to ask. Male SLW's have a distinctive color pattern with white on the wing bows, which ought to be visible at that age (though last year I had what turned out to be a pullet whose apparent white wing bows were just bad lacing).

Just an update: she is definitely a she and was an early layer! Laid her first egg the same day our 4 week older BLRW did. We have now received our first eggs and are over the moon excited!

we have blue girls too! blue, black and splash reds and then silver laced as well the splash are my favourite though, so pretty!
