Having some problems with my eggs :(

I am new to this incubation thing so I have a few questions. My first set was 18 Silkie eggs, ended up with 3 healthy chicks. My next was 10 Guinea eggs, I ended up with 5 healthy babies.Next came 14 Silkie eggs, I ended up with 4 healthy babies (born with multi-day span in hatching). My babies seem to be having trouble getting out of the eggs too. I keep having to help the ones that make it to hatching stage, lost a few because they couldn't get out. I ordered a hygrometer/thermometer combo from incubator warehouse but not sure how to calibrate it or exactly where to place the probe. I am getting so discouraged and heartbroken!! Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!!

Are they shipped eggs? How is your humidity?

They came from my coop. I am not sure about humidity as I still have not found out hy to calibrate my hygrometer/thermometer combo.
