Having trouble holding wings up?

My baby, maybe about 6-7 weeks old. has giant wings and has trouble holding them up. i don’t know why she would because she gets enough nutrition. i will get a video soon but she’s preening right now.

Video did not work...All is sounds like is she is not used to the weight of her wings yet..That is normal and as her wing muscles Strengthen she will be fine..

Are they hanging straight down or down and out? Coul you post a bunch of pictures?

My Muscovy's go through the same thing around that age blood feathers are heavy and it takes time to build up muscle to hold them proper. As long as they aren't sticking straight out like angel wing most likely normal.

Almost all of mine have done that. Lots of growth happening and it’s hard for their muscles to keep up. Awkward growing pains........

Here is is, she looks scraggly because it’s after her bath and she’s wet. right before this she jumped out of my arms and fell about four feet onto hard wood. she doesn’t seem to be in pain but that was very scary.

Mine do that too. If the duckling were mine I would keep a close eye on it and watch for signs of angel wing.
