Having Trouble Loading Pages, Getting Stuck On A 2 Toned Blue Screen...

Ok...for the past week or so, I have been having trouble with loading pages here on BYC. Seems that BYC is the only site that I am experiencing this problem. Sometimes when I first load BYC for the first time in that session, all is well until I turn a few pages and then I get a 2 toned blue screen, waiting for the entire thing to load. I have reloaded the same page, backed up a page or closed the browser to start over. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

My main browser is Chrome, although I also have IE and Firefox, both of which I do not care for. However, I am forced to use IE to solve this problem and it is driving me crazy! (IE that is) LOL

Chrome is always up to date however I have even tried downloading older versions of Chrome and still I am having this issue. I have cleaned my browser, cookies, cache, disc cleaned, everything I could think of to solve the problem. Even disabled all extensions and still BYC will, 5 out of 10 pages, not load. Gets stuck on a 2 toned blue page.

What do I do?

Sorry you're having the problem with pages loading. Thanks for all the details about browsers.. that definitely helps! Usually about 99% of the time problems are due to IE, so it's odd that you're having problems with Chrome.

Our techs are trying to duplicate, find, and fix the problem!

Thanks so much! At least I can log on with IE. Some days Chrome is useless for use on BYC. I can use it for other sites on the web, but for some reason, it is not co operating with BYC.

Maybe I have burned out the paths to BYC on this pc...I am hopelessly addicted to this site and come here constantly. LOL

Oh, and I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I have a satellite connection.

This is similar to what happens to me. I installed Google Chrome and then I could not get BYC to load AT ALL. I cleaned, cleared everything but after 3 weeks I went to local library to see if I could get on there,yes, and also my brothers house. Someone suggested that I load IE back on and yes I can get to BYC if I go the IE route? What has happened? I like Chrome and use it for everything else, it's now not my default site, so I can get to BYC.
This is just so weird.
