I am fascinated how chickens are living free in Hawaii, I assume they are reproducing.
Any one from Hawaii that may have studied these birds?
It would be nice to have a bird with their instincts surviving around the New England predators'.

Far fewer predators live in Hawai'i. While there are feral dogs and cats, there are no raccoons, opossums, skunks, eagles, wolves or coyotes. Hawai'i has one or two varieties of hawk and owl that feed mainly on rodents. In addition, wild chickens tend to be more wary than domestic chickens. Therefore, Hawai'ian chickens have it easy living in paradise!
